Tokyo Hotels and Ryokans Association

Tokyo Hotels and Ryokans Association is an organization established and authorized in 1958 based on the national law ‘Act on Coordination and Improvement of Environmental Health Industry.’ Operated under the guidance of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, as well as the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the association consists of approximately 60 branches in Tokyo, representing around 850 member accommodations. The association actively engages in daily activities aimed at improving food hygiene, disaster response, epidemic prevention, security, and facilities and services through training and other means. With a primary focus on the safety and peace of mind of users, the association strives to be a preferred choice for accommodation by working towards continuous enhancement in various aspects.
